Credera earns SOC 2 HIPAA attestation

Credera has been awarded their service organization controls (SOC 2) attestation for meeting all requirements under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

Credera earned this attestation by demonstrating that we have a mature and comprehensive set of physical, technical, and policy controls that exceeded the requirements for the three primary rules under HIPAA—security, privacy, and breach notification.

About the audit

A SOC 2 examination is a report on controls at a service organization relevant to security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. The HIPAA attestation extends the SOC 2 by examining specific, more stringent guidelines under federal law for protecting information collected during a healthcare visit.
