The client had a challenging and very manual process, where multiple would utilize spreadsheets to track their tasks, with no visibility on process flow. The users would share these spreadsheets and data with each other, which was a tedious process and often led to a delay in completion and confirmation. Manual calculations also led to an increased chance of errors and incorrect forecasting of repack products.
The Solution
Consolidating tasks and creating efficiencies through Pega.
A solution was envisioned and executed to have one core module developed on Pega. All the tasks performed by different users were covered in the application.
Credera spearheaded the Pega module, which formed the face of the application and provided process visibility, control, and business rule validation. The team leveraged Pega 8.1 case management framework to manage the repack process and incorporate business validation.
The solution allows the tracking of the project process/requests for repack, with clear team responsibility. There are now automatic calculations across the application and the incorporation of forecast and tracking reports for accurate and uncomplicated tasks.
The Results
Complete process automation for better visibility and control.
As a result of our collaboration, the client now has:
Saved 15 minutes per repack case request, with automations and uniform process flows.
Saved 30 minutes per week for MTRO users, with implementation of switch reports and alerts and validations in the application.
Higher quality of data provided by MTRO and less inconsistency between the systems (PEGA/SAP).
Process visibility and control through timely notification.
