Family, Flexibility & Encouragement

When it comes to career fulfillment people often have different priorities. There are many aspects to consider when choosing an employer—from values fit, to management and the type of work, to location, compensation and work-life integration. Ultimately, it all comes down to what is most important to you. Are you taking the job because of the paycheck? For the people? For the work-life balance?

The people in this video explain how they’ve found fulfillment in their career at Credera and how the supportive, family-like culture promotes a healthy career and personal life.

FAMILY

At Credera, we foster an environment where achieving healthy work-life integration is not only accepted, but encouraged. We believe that by finding the right mix of work and life, you are able to experience both personal and professional growth.

When Analytics and Business Intelligence Consultant, Amanda Dearman was looking for a new employer coming from an industry environment, she was immediately drawn to Credera for the values and work-life focus. “Credera was actually at the top of the list,” says Amanda.

While we always prioritize the needs of our clients, we also want our employees to be great—both at work and at home. We genuinely want to make it possible to attend that soccer game or take a little girl to dance class. There are many milestones in life and we don’t want our employees to miss key moments with their family and friends.

FLEXIBILITY

We take the time to get to know one another and build authentic relationships. By building this foundation, we recognize where flexibility is needed and how we can help one another excel in our work and personal lives.

Architect, Jason Helig mentions, “The flexibility that Credera gives me to be able to make sure that I’m getting excellent work done but also maintaining that balance at home has been paramount for me as a single parent over the last 6 years.”

ENCOURAGEMENT

Support from coworkers and managers is another component that many Crederians mention when explaining why they enjoy their job. Encouraging a coworker can be as simple as reassuring them that they are doing a great job. Sometimes we find ourselves in a stagnant place, but a few words of encouragement can instantly change a person’s confidence and attitude about their work.

Senior Consultant, Shelby Strodel shares how she experienced encouragement when she was handpicked for a project, “That was a type of encouragement that was very tangible to me.” We want to be in the habit of providing constant “in flight feedback”—both helpful pointers and genuine encouragement.

THE CREDERA FAMILY

When you choose to accept a job at Credera, you are becoming part of a family—The Credera Family. Family, flexibility and encouragement are three words that describe the people here.

We love to show our support for one another in the office and outside of it.

“Credera people want to get other Credera people involved in the organizations that people spend time with outside of work.” says Consultant, Meg Sokolosky. It’s not uncommon to find a group of Crederians spending time together and supporting one another by attending special events together.

So what are you looking for? The people in this video are great examples of what it means to find fulfillment in a career. If you are looking for a change of pace or looking for your first post-college job, we encourage you to consider joining our family.
