Credera assessed the current strategy creation process, as well as desired outcomes, through stakeholder interviews across multiple functional areas of Texas Capital Bank. During this assessment Credera took the following approach:
Mapped the current strategic planning process within the bank.
Conducted an extensive benchmarking analysis across five strategic planning components: strategic analysis and inputs, strategic modeling and frameworks, strategic decision-making, strategy communication, and strategy implementation.
After the assessment, Credera recommended a new strategic planning process, with key guides for each step at the corporate and business unit level, as well as a proposed calendar for execution. The new process was then back-tested with bank divisions to assess its value to the bank.
