Rob Merrett is the Global Chief Information Security Officer at Credera. He leads the firm’s global security and risk strategy for both Credera and its clients. Rob works closely with executive leadership and regional delivery teams across the USA, APAC, and Europe to ensure security is embedded in everything Credera does. He is particularly focused on making sure solutions are designed, delivered, and operated securely, and that Credera’s corporate security consistently exceeds client expectations.

Before taking on his global role, Rob served as the UK Chief Information Security Officer. He led the UK cyber programme, supporting clients across government, financial services, commercial sectors, and the energy and utilities industry. Rob joined Credera in 2017 and has since worked with a number of prominent clients.

He has more than a decade of experience working with technical consultancies and system integrators. His work has focused on large-scale technology and security transformation, often within highly regulated industries.

Rob graduated from the University of Reading with a BSc in Applied Computer Science. Outside work, he has a young family with three children. He enjoys travelling, reading about technology, and spending time being creative with his eldest son.
